Transforming a lactation Consultant’s Online Presence
Recently, I had the opportunity to redesign the service and home pages of a Brighton-based breastfeeding consultant’s website, ensuring her expertise was showcased in a clear, engaging, and accessible way. Before the redesign, the website struggled significantly on mobile devices, with alignment and accessibility issues making it difficult for potential clients to navigate her offerings.
Improving Accessibility & Mobile Usability
The previous design had a range of issues, including text misalignment, poorly formatted images, and an overall lack of mobile responsiveness. These challenges made it frustrating for visitors—particularly sleep-deprived new parents—to find the support they needed quickly. My redesign focused on clean, intuitive navigation, ensuring all text and visuals were properly formatted for different screen sizes, and improving accessibility by using clear typography, high-contrast colours, and well-structured content.
Showcasing Her Unique Approach
One of the main goals was to highlight her unique techniques and compassionate approach to breastfeeding support. I carefully structured the content to better communicate her services, philosophy, and expertise, making it easy for potential clients to understand how she could help them. By integrating engaging visuals, client testimonials, and call-to-action buttons, the pages now feel more inviting and user-friendly.
Expanding Her Reach on Social Media
Beyond the website updates, I also created a series of reusable, branded social media post images to help her promote her services effectively. These graphics ensure consistency across platforms while keeping her audience engaged with informative and visually appealing content.

A fully optimised, accessible, and professional online presence that truly reflects the value of her services—helping more parents access the breastfeeding support they need with ease.
